TORRANCE, California ? The Toyota Venza SportLux from Street Image is intended to showcase the performance potential of the Japanese automaker's new crossover vehicle. It's headed for the 2008 SEMA Show in Las Vegas next month.
The Venza SportLux was envisioned as a potential factory tuner model, with an aero body kit, interior modifications and additional performance hardware.
Exterior add-ons include a six-piece lip spoiler, a rear hatch spoiler, a custom grille and an integrated hood scoop. The SportLux rides on 24-inch Toyo Proxes 4 performance tires mounted on Chrome Cognac No. 20 wheels.
Chassis enhancements include TRD brakes with forged calipers as well as a height-adjustable coil-over tuned suspension. Street Image has fitted a TRD supercharger, high-pressure radiator cap and oil filler cap, as well as a cold-air intake system, heavy-duty battery and dual center-exit stainless steel exhaust system.
Seats are upholstered in black and burgundy leather, with black suede accents. The Eclipse in-vehicle entertainment system includes 1,000- and 1,500-watt amplifiers and an in-dash navigation unit.

We happen to own a brand new Venza and in its stock form it is nice...but a sports version!?#$% I love it. It's not a racer but it is a fantastic platform for a show car or cruiser. The stock V6 pulls strong and shifts the 6 speed transmission effortless. Imagine the supercharger or a turbocharger in there and the 140mph speedometer may lack some extra mph? markings.

this car is meticulously and technically near perfect. the awd is good its fast and different from alot of other looks on the road. it is well built. i think it looks bad. i wil buy one because of its looks outside but business handsome on the inside and its a sleeper. cold as hell baby giving the? subaru a run in regards to the AWD.

i actually own one of these, mine comes stock with 19" rims, and it looks good with them, and for those sayin that it looks like a minivan believe me it doesnt its a bit bigger then a regular car, but still smaller then a suv, and it comes with awd, but what really makes the car is the interior, its more for a buisness man then it is for a sport tuner, that y it looks ridiculous? in the vid
i just got my venza ...
i just got my venza last month it's nice car in & out and performance five stars.
but it has a serious problem comes with The front cabin's, air noise caming form fornt doors.
i? took it back to the dealer to get fix make storie short,and after they called toyota main company and drove anther branew venza they told me it's normal to hear that noise sound like i have my doors open. I HOPE THIS COMMENT HELPS! BEFORE YOU GUYS BUY AND ALSO IF YOU ALREADY HAVE 1 YOU SHOULD LISTEN TELL THE DEALER.
